Detox Delivery Smoothie

Makes 710ml

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Tbsp Organic human grade Tasmanian Kelp meal
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup + 2 Tbsp. coconut milk
  • 1 Tbsp. mint
  • 2 tsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. lime juice, fresh

Add all ingredients to a blender; puree until smooth.

The Flu Fighters: Superfood Smoothie

Paleo, vegan, and vegetarian friendly. Makes 710ml.

Kelp and kale partner together with lemon and apple to create the flu fighting machine we need to survive Tassie winters. You might not have to chip ice off your boat to go to work, but your health will still benefit from this new superfood smoothie. Bring it on, winter!

  • 2 cups kale, leaves roughly torn
  • 1 Tbsp Organic human grade Tasmanian Kelp meal
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 red apple
  • 1 cup coconut water or almond milk
  • 1/2 cup ice, as needed
  • chia seeds, optional

Add all ingredients to a blender; puree until smooth.

Peachy-Green: Kelp Smoothie

The cashews add enough protein to this smoothie to keep you going for hours, while the peaches present a light sweetness that complements the rice milk and kelp.

Makes 710ml.
2 ½ fresh peaches ea. or 1 ½ cup frozen peach slices
½ cup cashews
¾ cup rice milk
1 1 Tbsp Organic human grade Tasmanian Kelp meal
½ tsp. cinnamon

METHOD:

Add all ingredients to a blender; puree until smooth.

Just Beet It (with Kelp!)

What do you do with the abundance of carrots and beets at the Farmers’ Market? Make a kelp smoothie, of course! Beets are naturally sweet, pairing well with the zing of fresh citrus and mellow flavour of kelp.

Paleo, vegan, and vegetarian friendly. Makes 710ml.

  • 1 Tbsp Organic human grade Tasmania Kelp meal
  • 1 cooked beet, peeled
  • 1 cooked carrot
  • 1/2 grapefruit
  • juice of 1 orange
  • 1 cup coconut water*
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger*

*If you want a richer and fattier smoothie for longer lasting energy, use coconut milk instead of water.

*Feel free to add more ginger if your immune system is feeling low.

Add all ingredients to blender; puree until smooth.

  • Optional: Add 1-2 scoops of protein or whey powder
